Living Near Gatwick Airport

Gatwick airport is located in Crawley, Sussex, which is situated halfway between the capital city and the coast. The town has grown considerably since the intial design plans were laid down during the 1940's. The huge developmentof Crawley has been largely due to the massive expansion of Gatwick International Airport, as well as a lot of enouragement from Crawley Council.

The further development of Gatwick airport brings with it both pros and cons for allthose living in the surrounding areas. The airport has brought a large amount of business and jobs to the area.
