The North Terminal is Gatwick's newest terminal, home to British Airways, and charter airlines First Choice Airways and ThomsonFly.
The North Terminal has facilities to cater for all kinds of travellers, including Business Travellers, those with Special Needs and those Travelling with Children.
There are plenty of services in both terminals to make your journey easier, including communication facilities, baggage facilities and cash facilities such as bureaux de change.

Checking In
Check in is located on the third floor of Gatwick's North Terminal. You should arrive well in time for your flight to make sure you have enough time to go through security. The advised times are:
- International flights - check in 3 hours prior to departure
- European flights - check in 2 hours prior to departure
- Domestic flights - check in 1 hour prior to departure
Self Service Check In
Self service check in is available with some airlines. it is simple and safe to use and can save you a lot of time at the airport. Self service check in is available both online and in kiosks located at the airport. The North Terminal has kiosks located near the standard check in desks.
You can use this service if you are flying with the following airlines:

Remember: No flight calls are made at Gatwick, so you need to check the television monitors listing flight departures for your boarding time and gate number. Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure.
Arrivals is located on the ground floor. You can check arrival times online.
International connections do not require going through Immigrations or Customs but all International to Domestic connections do.
Domestic to International connecting passengers can use special Immigration check points if baggage is through-checked.
Baggage storage is available in the upper level Check-in/Departures area beside check-in Zone F. Open 05:00 - 21:00. The cost is £6.50 per item per 24 hours. Tel: +44 (0)1293 502013.

North Terminal - Check in
| Bureaux de Change | Two Bureaux de Change, a Travelex next to the toilets in check in zone B and a TTT Bureau de Change next to the toilets in zone E. |

North Terminal - Departures
| Bureaux de Change | Three Bureaux de Change in the passenger area of the international departure concourse, a Travelex next to Fat Face and two TTT next to the Sunglass Hut and opposite World Duty Free. There are also three Bureaux de Change in the public shopping area, a TTT next to WHSmith and two Travelex next to Glorious Britain and opposite the escalators. |

| Luggage Trolleys | Plentiful and free. Not immediately obvious, they are available just inside the terminal entry doors in the 'atrium'. Trolleys can sometimes be found in the Short Term car park but it tends to be pot luck. |
